After relaxing on one of the beaches in the center of town - such as the beach Pod kerku, Jadran or Pesja - we wholeheartedly recommend a walk along the newly renovated promenade to the beautiful Večja beach in Omišlja, or the more challenging, picturesque Slivanjska, which is connected to the famous Biserujka cave by a very interesting educational trail.
Adventurers will be delighted by 40 kilometers of bike paths that connect all the beaches in this area, and true sea lovers should not miss the experience of passing under the Krk bridge and exploring the rich flora and fauna of the island's undersea. Don't worry - in the immediate vicinity of the beaches you will have the option of renting a boat, SUP or kayak, as well as finding a great diving instructor.
Many of the beaches in Omišalj and Njivica are suitable for families, as well as the disabled, and pet owners will also be delighted by the beautiful beach for dogs in Kijac.
