One of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Krk is guarded by the bay Slivanjska in the area of the municipality of Omišalj and the municipality of Dobrinj. Although the landscape around the Biserujka cave is mostly deserted and rocky and uninteresting at first glance, it is characterized by some features that make it worthwhile to get to know in more detail. Therefore, the Biserujka cave and the Slivanjska bay ("Slivonjska" in the Dobrinj dialect) are connected by an educational hiking trail where every visitor can learn about more interesting details of the landscape with the help of five educational boards. The tour of the trail takes about 30 minutes of easy walking. In the bay is certainly one of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Krk. In addition to this sandy beauty, you can also find the remains of an unfinished stone restaurant and a harbor - the historic port of Rudine.
