The folk theater festival is a kind of celebration of folk dramatic expression. During the duration of the festival, performances are arranged alternately  Prikešte square in Omišlj  and ancient castle in the city of Grobnik.  The festival is the result of cultural cooperation between two local self-government units, the municipality of Omišalj and Ćavle, former ones  Francopan castles, an environment rich in cultural tradition and folk creativity. All plays are hit plays, some of them are premieres, and some have been performed more than a hundred times.
