From the Njivice camp, you first take the asphalt road to the island's main road, and after crossing onto the wide macadam, you pass by the Equestrian Club and the Center for Activities and Therapeutic Riding. The unique flora and fauna characterizes the wider area around Jezera, so you too should explore this special ecosystem of the island. The area is especially rich in marsh and migratory birds, so it is a valuable ornithological reserve, while in addition to marsh plants, several species of orchids are also found in the immediate vicinity of the lake. In the forest idyll of cherry oak and honeysuckle, enjoy the singing of birds and the smell of flowers, and use the walk by the lake to observe and photograph birds.
