Centralni događaj ovogodišnjeg Mesopusta bio je Bljak fest koji se održao u subotu, 28. siječnja. Ovaj poznati gastro event u 2023. godini ponudio je najbogatiji program dosad.

Kuhalo je rekordnih deset ekipa i to: Karnevalske udruge Babani i Omišjanski babani, restoran Rivica, Udruga veterana Domovinskog rata otoka Krka, ribolovno društvo Zubatac, udruga „Puntarske užance“, Karnevalska udruga Kataroška, Lovačko društvo „Šljuka“ i udruga za narodne običaje Drivenik koji uz hranu s ponosom predstavili i Drivenik Brewery pivu – Kirica.

At this festival, you can taste specific ones specialties of the people's gastronomic heritage poput bijelih bubrega, tripica, svinjskih i kokošjih nožica, pilećih vratova… i druge “bljakavosti” čiji se asortiman iz godine u godinu širi.

What this festival offers is more than just arguing about tastes, that is, tastes colorful Omišalj, which in itself is reason enough to visit it all year round, even now in winter, when its squares and labyrinths of narrow streets come alive with masquerades, or “babani” for which Omišalj is widely known.

One thing is for sure, everyone who comes will find something they don't like but will try with gusto!
