Bljak Fest is a special gastronomic manifestation that has become an indispensable part of carnival events and which attracts an increasing number of visitors every year.

At this festival, you can taste specific ones specialties of the people's gastronomic heritage such as white kidneys, tripe, pork and chicken legs, chicken necks... and other "bloat" whose assortment is expanding year by year.

What this festival offers is more than just arguing about tastes, that is, tastes colorful Omišalj, which in itself is reason enough to visit it all year round, even now in winter, when its squares and labyrinths of narrow streets come alive with masquerades, or "babani" for which Omišalj is widely known.

One thing is for sure, everyone who comes will find something they don't like but will try with gusto!
