Write your Christmas story in Omišlj and Njivice and visit the only ice rink on the island of Krk and the unique Christmas nativity scene, take a walk through the decorated places and capture special moments with new holiday photopoints and enjoy the musical notes.

New Christmas decorations and thousands of lights make the holiday season even more cheerful and interesting, and our seaside places become the best backdrop for writing your Christmas story. It is for this reason that the advent slogan was "Christmas story in Omišlja and Njivice" and represented a diverse program divided into several themed locations that received new, lively Christmas decorations and lighting.

Visitors had at their disposal the only ice rink on the island of Krk and an exhibition of unique Christmas nativity scenes, they were invited to walk through the decorated places and take pictures at the new holiday photopoints.
The concert program was arranged in weekend editions on Fridays and Saturdays, with a combination of well-known Rijeka and island musicians. The program was announced with the concerts of the Josip Kaplan Choir, the duo Vjeko&Eni, Damir Kedža, and the Urban& 4 band.

The exhibition of the Unique Christmas Nativity was located on the square in Njivice in the new building where the office of the Tourist Board of the Omišalj Municipality is also located. 13.00 hours. What made this nativity scene special was more than 500 handmade and carefully designed elements that formed a real small town of this unique Christmas nativity scene. A special backdrop with as many as 125 different figurines placed among 12 Bethlehem houses form an interesting visual composition enhanced by light effects. The nativity scene consists of a stable with Jesus, Mary and Joseph in movements, with the three kings approaching from a distance.
The nativity scene was as much as 4 m square.

Advent at OŠKA is a combination of the sports successes of our football club and continuous work with children, which gave birth to a new event that brings together all residents and players of many ages in a special way. At the Pušća playground, an appropriate Christmas program took place, socializing and taking pictures with Santa Claus, visitors could enjoy the Christmas stands with festive gastronomic offer and mulled wine, all with great entertainment prepared by the L'amour trio and the unmissable fireworks.

This year's Christmas Story was richer for one location, "Christmas Story on the Square in Njivice". With appropriate decoration and lighting and the inevitable Santa's house, visitors could enjoy concert events and a program for children and adults consisting of children's shows and interesting new workshops. Vocal studio Rijeka and Blu Kanu band performed. The youngest had the traditional welcome of St. Nicholas at 17:00 in Njivice on Lukobran, and St. As befits, Nikola came to Njivice by boat. Along with spending time with St. Nicholas, children and adults will be entertained by DJ Alex Sabattini at Placa from 6:00 p.m.

The Christmas story at Placa in Njivice continued immediately on December 7 at 18:00 with a special workshop for adults. Mirna Sišul's Art&Wine workshop held an interesting creative beginner's painting workshop, all while tasting wine and hanging out with Mirna.

Christmas Eve on the Square was the finale of the program in Njivice, when there was a distribution of cod from Rivica restaurant and a concert by Martina Majerla. With this warm acoustic pop, retro & swing advent story, we revived the spirit of the Christmas holidays.
