The custom of Ghosts in Omišalj has survived to this day and is celebrated as Omišalj Municipality Day.

Vow day of their parish Omišaljani traditionally celebrates in the early morning procession to the cemetery of St. Spirit and with a solemn mass celebration in the parish church.

Omišalj Municipality Day is celebrated every year by island sopelas , members of the Krk Island Sopa Association who, together with the leadership of the Omišalj KUD »Iva Jurjević«, arrange a musical meeting called"On thin and thick" on the local square . Spiritual Tuesday is celebrated with a solemn meeting on the Pikešte square where, in addition to appropriate speeches, dances and songs, deserving fellow residents are presented with annual awards. The all-day sports and cultural program ends with an entertainment program.
