PRESIDENT

The duty of president of the Omišalj municipality tourist board, based on the provisions of the law and the statute, is held by the mayor of the Omišalj municipality, Mrs. mr.sc. Mirela Ahmetović.

The president represents the community, convenes and presides over the sessions of the Assembly and the Tourist Board, together with the director of the Tourist board, prepares the sessions of the Tourist board and the Assembly, initiates and encourages the cooperation of the Community with other communities and organizations of common interest, performs other tasks determined by the acts of the Community.

ASSEMBLY OF TZO OMIŠALJ

The highest body of the Tourist Board of the City of Poreč is the Assembly, which manages it, and is made up of representatives of the members of the Board

The number of representatives of Community members in the Assembly is determined in proportion to the share of an individual Community member in the Community's income, which income consists of the paid membership fee and 25% of the residence tax paid by that member in the year preceding the year in which the elections for the Assembly are held, with one a member can have a maximum of 40% of representatives in the Assembly.

Members of the Assembly pass acts, such as the work plan and program, the financial plan, consider and pass the annual work report, but also discuss the most important issues related to the work of the community.

TURISTIČKO VIJEĆE TZO OMIŠALJ

The Tourist Council is the executive body of the Assembly of the Tourist Board, and has eight members. The members of the Tourist Council are elected by the Assembly from among the members of the community, taking into account the representation of activities in the destination's tourism, and taking into account expertise and/or experience in tourism. The Tourist Board is responsible to the Assembly of the Tourist Board.

As an executive body, the Tourist Council implements the decisions and conclusions of the Assembly, manages the assets of the Tourist Board, appoints the Director of the Tourist Office, proposes positions and gives opinions on issues to be discussed by the Assembly, considers issues arising from the tasks of the community, takes care of the execution of community programs and makes general acts that are not within the competence of the Assembly.
